Brainstorm |
This is the initial brain storm to my 2D game, this is going through all the basic information that I have for the game, and all the different things that I have thought of.
This is going to be where I write about some additional Ideas that I have for games that I might create for this project.
One is that I might so a car on a track: The idea on this one is that the player would have to think fast about what it is that they are doing. For this one, maths would be a big part of it. Basically for this game, there will be a car going fast on a track, an equation will flash up on the screen, there will then be a row of answers for the equation, if the right one is ran over, then the car goes faster, if they run over the wrong one then the car will go slower, and there is a chance that they might not win the race.
Ages 6-8
Two is that there will be bees and they have to pollinate flowers, they will have baskets that they will carry their pollen in. They then have to use the colour of the basket to then link it to the flower that they have to get to. At the start they will be told the amount of flowers that they have to visit before the time runs out.
Ages 3-5
Three is that there would be a series of tasks that need to be done. Either there would be a sequence that comes upon the screen and the then you would then have to answer by saying what was happening in the screen. E.g. there may be 6 red dots and 7 green dots and 4 purple dots appear on the screen individually. The next screen would be... 'So how many red dots appeared. This would work on the retaining of information skills. There would also be ones like, click on the words that are both the same word and colour, E.g. Pink This would work on your the differentiation within your mind.
Ages 9-11
Four is that they would basically be within a chemistry environment, but they would be doing maths and information retaining. This would have a basic fundamentals of a school for magical people, Warlocks, Wizards, Werewolves, Witches, Vampires and Elves. They would basically be within a potions lesson and would have to work out, with maths, the amount of each ingredient that they would need and as they progressed it would be harder and harder to figure out. There would also be a retaining skill needed because they would only be able to look at the recipe a number of times, and there would be a number of other ingredients also on the table and if they use the wrong amount or thing, the potion will not work and they would loose.
Ages 9-14
